DUMP CAKE: APPLE PIE
1 cup almond flour(click here to purchase)
1 cup whey protein powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
8 ounces plain yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 can sugar free apple pie filling found at walmart
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
combine almond flour, whey protein, baking powder, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, salt in a small bowl. combine eggs, oil, sugar, yogurt and vanilla extract in a bowl and beat well. add flour mixture and stir just until moistened.
Line a 13 by 9 inch baking dish with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray. add cinnamon to apple pie filling. pour pie filling in bottom of pan. Dump batter over apple pie filling and spread evenly. bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Tip: I like to cut up the apple pie slices into smaller pieces so I have enough to cover the whole bottom of the pan (evenly distributed)
