COOKIES: ALMOND BUTTER BROWNIES(click here to print)

ALMOND BUTTER BROWNIES(THESE ARE DELICIOUS)

1 cup organic creamy Almond Butter
2 eggs beaten with a fork
1/3 cup vanilla flavored coffee syrup(sugar-free)
2 packets splenda or stevia...
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder

pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine almond butter, coffee syrup, and beaten eggs. Mix well. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir well until it is smooth. This may take a while if you store your Almond Butter in the refrigerator. Spray an 8 by 8 glass baking pan with coconut oil cooking spray. Put your batter into the pan and spread so it is even. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes. Cool and cut into 12 squares. Carbs are 5 per serving.  **Cover with foil and store in a dry place

Note: Add a teaspoon of almond extract to this recipe to give it more of an almond flavor.  If you like brownies with a minty taste, add a teaspoon of mint or peppermint extract.
