4 INGREDIENT MAIN DISH: BROCCOLI-CHEESE CHICKEN(click here to print)

BROCCOLI-CHEESE CHICKEN





1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 (10 ounce) packages frozen broccoli florets in cheese sauce(make your own with cheddar cheese and whipping cream)
3 cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey breasts
1/4 cup diced pimentos

In pan spayed with Pam, over medium heat, cook and stir nuts until they are brown.
Cook frozen broccoli in sauce according to directions
Transfer to a large saucepan and stir in chicken and pimentos.
Simmer, stirring constantly, until chicken and broccoli heat through. Add water if sauce gets to thick. Season with pepper. Remove and keep warm. Sprinkle on almonds just before serving.
6 to 8 servings; 5  carbs.
