APPETIZERS: ROASTED SPICED PECANS(click here to print)


ROASTED SPICED PECANS


2 tbs butter, melted
2 tbs. coconut aminos
1 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1 (12 ounce) bag pecan halves (3 cups)

Heat oven 375 F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Combine butter, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne in a medium bowl; add pecans and toss to coat. Spread evenly onto baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until lightly toasted, about 8 minutes, stirring once. Cool completely before serving. Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.   12 servings; 5 g. carbs per serving

Tip: Store nuts in a cool dry please or in the fridge, where they'll stay fresh for up to 6 months, or in the freezer for up to a year. Toss out nuts that smell musty.
